Job summary

Abnormal AI is seeking an AI Security Sales Executive to own the AI Security portfolio in a defined territory. You will carry a quota, drive the full sales cycle from initial conversations to close, and lead significant upsell campaigns within existing customers.

You’ll hunt major new logos, engage with executive buyers, and collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineering, and product leadership. You must be comfortable with ambiguity as the motion matures and scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, primarily selling into Enterprise accounts.
• Technical depth and curiosity: discuss AI architecture, cloud security concepts with technical buyers.
• Hunter’s drive with the judgment to prioritize when demand exceeds capacity.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity as the product and motion evolve.
• Strong cross-functional instincts with Account Executives, Sales Eng, and product leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own AI Security in your territory, carry the quota and run the full sales cycle from first conversation to close.
• Hunt large new logos and open doors beyond existing customers.
• Prioritize effectively to focus on high-impact activities.
• Partner with Account Executives and equip them to carry AI Security conversations, stepping in on key deals.
• Go deep on technology with security and platform teams when customers need detail beyond a pitch.
• Lead design partner conversations for early-availability products with product leadership.
• Shape the product and playbook by feeding field feedback to leadership for later-stage selling.
• Stay current as the suite evolves and maintain pace with market changes.
