Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to advance AI security solutions across the region from New York. You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist, drive GTM strategies, and enable regional Sales Engineers with product capabilities, roadmaps, and live demos.

You will conduct technical discovery, PO C reviews, and ensure successful deployments in customer environments while building strong relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field as listed.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, incl. AI tech.
• Engage with cloud/AI security evaluators and architects.
• Understanding of AI tech incl. ML, DL, gen AI.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud deployment on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Travel up to 50% for customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM for AI security.
• Enable regional Sales Engineers on products, roadmap, demos.
• Support discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs.
• Assist customers deploying AI security in self-hosted envs.
• Maintain demo environments and training materials.
• Engage partners to close AI security opportunities.
• Lead customer engagements: architecture reviews and training.
• Hand over post-sales deployments for long-term success.
• Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CISOs, AI leaders.
• Educate customers on agentic AI security best practices.
