Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to support pre-sales for our AI security solutions. You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist to drive greenfield opportunities and expand existing accounts, delivering live demonstrations and architectural reviews.

You will enable regional Sales Engineers, conduct POCs, oversee demo environments, engage partners, and travel up to 50% to build relationships and advance opportunities in the AI security space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, with AI focus.
• Experience engaging with technical evaluators (cloud/AI security).
• Solid understanding of ML, DL, and generative AI.
• Hands-on docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Deep AI security concepts and agentic AI awareness.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience deploying on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM for AI Security across the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Provide technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs.
• Assist customers with deployment in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments and training materials.
• Engage channel and reseller partners with technical resources.
• Collaborate to identify, qualify, and close AI Security business.
• Lead customer-facing engagements and technical trainings.
• Facilitate post-sales handovers for successful deployments.
• Build relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders.
• Educate customers on agentic AI best practices and secure deployment.
