Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer in the United States to drive pre-sales activities for our AI Security solutions. You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape go-to-market strategies, enable regional engineers, and support deployments in customers’ environments.

Responsibilities include technical architecture reviews, POC support, and training, with travel up to 50%. A strong background in AI tech, cloud platforms, and Docker/Kubernetes is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, data science, information systems, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, including at least 2 years specializing in AI and related technologies.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with technical evaluators, including cloud or AI security engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML architects.
• Understanding of core AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute the GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and live demonstrations.
• Provide comprehensive support for technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs.
