Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to support pre-sales for AI security solutions and accelerate adoption across the region.

You will partner with the AI Sales Specialist to drive greenfield opportunities, enable regional SEs, and conduct technical demonstrations, architecture reviews, and POC support. You will guide customers through deployment in self-hosted environments, maintain demo environments and materials, and collaborate with partners to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (EE, CS, data science, IS) or related.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, with at least 2 years in AI.
• Experience engaging with cloud/AI security engineers and data scientists.
• Understanding of ML, DL, and generative AI.
• Experience deploying production apps on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute GTM strategy for AI Security across the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Support technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments, certifications, and training materials.
• Engage partners to equip them to close AI Security opportunities with Fortinet.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, qualify, and close AI Security business.
• Lead customer-facing engagements: architecture reviews, evaluations, demos, and training.
• Facilitate post-sales handovers for successful deployments and customer success.
• Cultivate relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and enterprise AI leaders.
• Educate customers on agentic AI best practices and Fortinet positioning.
