Job summary

Notion is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect on the Services team to turn AI ambition into operational reality for customers. You will design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption and measurable business outcomes.

You will work directly with customers to understand goals, governance, and environments, translating context into scalable Notion architectures and durable operating layers for teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in tech services/consulting or related customer-facing roles.
• Ability to translate ambiguous goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
• Strong consultative discovery skills, mapping current-state workflows and defining future-state solutions.
• Hands-on AI builder mindset, with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, automate, or improve real business workflows.
• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems and developer workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers on forward deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals and workflow requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Design scalable Notion architectures translating customer workflows, permissions, governance needs, integrations, and AI use cases.
• Design and deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, agents, automations, Workers, and Developer Platform capabilities.
• Help customers navigate change by designing adoption plans, enablement materials and launch approaches.
• Identify repeatable patterns across engagements and convert them into packaged solutions and templates.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, simplifying complex technical requirements and aligning around a clear implementation path.
• Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, PMM, Services leadership and partners to scale effective approaches.
