Job summary

Notion is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Go-To-Market to lead complex customer engagements from discovery to end-to-end implementation. You will embed with enterprise customers to design and deploy production-grade custom agents, integrations, and data pipelines that connect Notion with customers’ systems.

You’ll translate requirements into scalable architectures, advise on technical decisions, and help Notion scale its Services with repeatable methodologies and tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing engineering role or forward deployed engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python; able to write production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and data integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on technical delivery of customer engagements from discovery to end-to-end implementation.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding architectural decisions and expansion of Notion usage.
• Design, build, and operate custom agents, integrations, automations, and data pipelines.
• Lead large-scale content and data migrations with discovery, scoping, transformation, validation, and post-migration optimization.
• Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate into well-architected solutions.
• Design and build customer integrations, automations, and custom tooling for Notion implementations.
• Develop feedback loops with Product, CX, and Engineering to influence roadmap and tooling improvements.
• Build discovery frameworks, standards, and internal tooling for services delivering complex migrations at scale.
• Help evolve Services team with repeatable methodologies and artifacts.
