Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group to guide the infrastructure and cloud-native layers powering EY’s AI runtime. You will set technical direction for a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, and stand up EY AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, client‑managed, and air‑gapped targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: set priorities, allocate work, hire, mentor, and grow leadership capability across the team.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement, and debug highest-risk components like cluster bring-up and multi-tenancy.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap: define phased capabilities and report progress to senior leadership.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform: manage Kubernetes, scheduling, cluster fabric, and production-ready substrate.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped deployment modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing: Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, NVIDIA Dynamo; Envoy AI Gateway and semantic routing.
• Own operational excellence, resilience, and platform delivery: SLOs, on-call, incident management, DR, backup, security hardening; CI/CD/CV and GitOps.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor selection: forecast demand, set quotas, manage budget, and vendor relationships.
