Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to own the infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. You will guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while personally designing and troubleshooting the most critical components.

This player-coach role requires delivering a phased roadmap, ensuring reliability and portability in regulated client contexts, and aligning with senior leadership on strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team; set priorities and growth.
• Design, implement, and debug the most critical platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased, measurable milestones.
• Operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, and edge.
• Define SLOs, incident management, and DR across environments.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and capacity planning.
