Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites an AI Native Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding Infrastructure as a Service team.

You will drive new logo acquisitions and massive cloud migrations across the Americas, focusing on ML and AI training use cases. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, value-based selling, and deep understanding of cloud AI technologies, with collaboration across internal teams to execute GTM strategies and build a sizable pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Willingness to work across multiple time zones.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI technologies.
• Proven track record closing large enterprise deals.

Responsibilities

• Executing a global outbound prospecting strategy to generate high-quality pipeline and drive new logo acquisitions across targeted verticals and regions
• Operating with urgency, intensity, and ownership- dedicating the majority of weekly focus outbound initiatives that accelerate top-of-funnel growth
• Designing, executing, and refining multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) with personalized messaging and data-driven optimization to improve conversion rates
• Owning the complete end-to-end sales cycle, from initial engagement through deal closure, ensuring alignment with customer goals and Akamai's go-to-market strategy
• Developing a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI computing, and emerging technologies while collaborating closely with peers and leadership to ensure consistent execution and measurable results
