Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks an AI Native Account Executive to join our Infrastructure as a Service team, driving new logo acquisitions and massive cloud migrations across the Americas in ML/AI training use cases.

You will own the full sales cycle, design multi-channel outreach, and partner with teams to execute GTM strategies and build a massive pipeline. A driver with deep cloud/AI knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years of relevant sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate grit and flexibility across multiple time zones.
• Be present at the San Francisco Office to lead by example and align with NA HQ.
• Have deep technical and commercial expertise in cloud/AI and infrastructure.
• Proven track record closing large infrastructure and data center deals.
• Ability to execute a sales methodology that differentiates the offering.
• Experience in Net New Cloud Sales (Infrastructure or Software) in B2B Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Execute a global outbound prospecting strategy to generate pipeline and new logos.
• Operate with urgency and ownership to accelerate top-of-funnel growth.
• Design and refine multi-channel campaigns with personalized messaging.
• Own end-to-end sales cycle from engagement to close, aligning with goals.
• Develop understanding of cloud infra and AI to drive measurable results.
