Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Native Account Executive to lead new logo acquisitions and large-scale cloud migrations across the Americas, with a focus on ML/AI training use cases.

The role emphasizes an entrepreneurial mindset, value-based selling, and deep knowledge of emerging cloud technologies. The position involves owning the complete sales cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building a massive pipeline in a fast-growing infrastructure and AI computing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Willingness to work across multiple time zones and irregular hours.
• Presence at the San Francisco Office to lead by example and collaborate with NA HQ.
• Deep technical and commercial expertise in cloud infrastructure and AI computing.
• Experience closing large enterprise infrastructure and data center deals.

Responsibilities

• Execute a global outbound prospecting strategy to generate pipeline and new logo acquisitions.
• Drive top-of-funnel growth with urgent, high-velocity outreach.
• Design multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, cold calls) with measured optimization.
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle from engagement to deal closure.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to understand cloud infra and AI trends.
