Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all from home.

Your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason and improve in real-world scenarios. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and capable of clear, evidence-based writing.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and natural conversational ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews is a plus.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain realistic scenarios in natural conversation.
• Experience making clear decisions when both options have flaws is desirable.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming and replaying, to spot problems like artifacts or misalignment.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
