Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, self-paced schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain in writing what went off, all from home.

This opportunity focuses on careful observation, clear communication, and precise judgments to improve AI systems. Ideal candidates are fluent in English with strong attention to detail and the ability to think on their feet.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication and comfortable with everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining through realistic situations in natural conversations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and clarity of each utterance.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming, replaying) to spot problems like distortions, flickering, or poor audio-video alignment.
• Writing a specific explanation in English that points to what was observed.
