EY is hiring for Challenger Core to shape the interaction layer between humans and AI. The role designs AI-assisted experiences, runs usability research, and delivers production-ready components across web and app surfaces.

You will translate insights into concrete specifications, collaborate with product, engineering, security, and research teams, and influence the entire user journey with a focus on transparency and control.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• A portfolio of shipped interaction design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or HCI work showing both thinking and implementation.
• Production proficiency in modern web or application technologies.
• Experience designing for AI, search, recommendation, or another adaptive system.
• Practical command of semantic UI, WCAG, WAI-ARIA, keyboard interaction, and assistive-technology testing.
• Experience extending reusable component libraries and supporting adoption across product teams.
• Travel and On-site requirements: up to 50% travel and hybrid office.

Aufgaben

• Define experience principles, interaction architecture, and reusable patterns for AI-assisted products.
• Conduct workflow research and usability testing with diverse users including assistive tech users.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes and accessible production components for product surfaces.
• Translate user intent into interaction specifications for clarity, memory, and permissions.
• Make plans, evidence, tool activity, costs and outcomes legible to users.
• Design controls for preview, approval, interruption, edit, undo, retry, escalation, and human takeover.
• Measure task completion, effort, recovery, and trust; partner with AI, platform, security, and evaluation specialists.
