Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced designer to invent how people and AI work together. You will own the interaction layer and design patterns across web, app, and multimodal surfaces, translating user research into production-ready solutions.

Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and AI teams to create intuitive, trustworthy experiences that keep users in control. You’ll join Challenger Core, building reusable tools and guardrails to accelerate value and scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with interaction design for AI/adaptive systems.
• Portfolio of shipped work showing design thinking and implementation.
• Production proficiency in modern web technologies delivering responsive components.

Responsibilities

• Define experience principles, interaction architecture, and reusable AI patterns.
• Conduct workflow research and usability testing with diverse users.
• Build prototypes and production components for web, app, and multimodal surfaces.
• Translate user intent into interaction specifications including memory and permissions.
• Measure task completion, trust, and recovery; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
