Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering, Inc. seeks a hands-on Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate ongoing AI work into a unified program. You’ll prototype generative AI agents, design guardrails, and drive adoption across about 45 non-technical staff through AI champions and practical tooling.

You will own the stack, governance, and scorecard in a remote-first environment, reporting to the General Company Circle. This is a builder role with direct impact.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and shipping agentic AI systems, automations or LLM-powered tools.
• Minimum 7 years in tech, operations, product, consulting or transformation roles, with 2+ years in applied generative AI.
• Fluency with prompting, agents, tool use, evaluation and orchestration across major model providers.
• Ability to prototype and integrate via APIs without heavy engineering support.
• Experience deploying AI/automation across non-technical workforces with measurable gains.
• Experience establishing governance, responsible-AI or data-handling policies.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI capabilities: prototypes, agents, evaluation frameworks and deployable pipelines.
• Lead hands-on enablement across the company with playbooks, sessions and AI champions.
• Redesign core workflows to leverage AI capabilities in collaboration with business teams.
• Own the AI scorecard: publish weekly metrics, track targets and justify changes.
• Decide tooling stack: evaluate models, platforms, and vendors, avoid tool sprawl.
• Establish guardrails: graduated autonomy, provenance from prompts, data-classification, policies with Legal/HR/IT.
• Manage the use-case pipeline from intake to pilot and rollout, retiring initiatives quarterly.
• Ensure quality: validate outputs against sources, retest after updates and define human oversight needs.
• Support the team’s wellbeing with a fair balance between adoption metrics and workload.
