Job summary

ShopMy is looking for a Manager of Accounting Operations to own AP, expense and travel processes and help scale procurement. This hands-on role emphasizes using AI tools to improve efficiency beyond speed, while maintaining strong controls.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years in finance operations, experience with procurement and vendor management, and the ability to collaborate across Legal, People, and IT. Remote-friendly with NYC/Bay Area preference.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in finance operations or accounting.
• Hands-on AP, expense management, and travel programs experience.
• Experience with procurement and vendor management tools.
• Able to build processes and solve problems creatively.
• Fluency with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations daily.
• Help build procurement function, vendor management and spend controls.
• Partner with legal, people, and IT to streamline processes as we grow.
• Use AI tools to automate and improve workflows.
• Support billing operations as part of finance.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end close, audits, and reporting.
