Stitch Fix Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP and T&E teams, balancing accounting integrity with business practicality. You’ll work cross-functionally with Accounting, Merchandising, Operations, Engineering, and Financial Systems to optimize P2P processes and system designs.

The ideal candidate brings extensive AP leadership, SOX/GAAP expertise, and a track record of scaling processes in a retail environment, with a focus on leveraging AI to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• 10+ years’ experience in accounts payable, preferably at a public company or in retail.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience leading mixed hourly and salaried staff.
• Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP implementations, and SOX compliance.
• Strong systems mindset and ability to drive scalable processes.
• Proficient in Excel; Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a high-performing AP team including supervisors and processors.
• Partner with Accounting, Merchandising, Engineering, and IT to update systems for new initiatives.
• Oversee the T&E platform and corporate card program, ensuring smooth expense reporting.
• Champion the use of agentic AI to improve workflows and enable AI functionalities.
• Identify efficiencies and drive continuous improvements within the AP process.
• Manage monthly close for accounts payable and related accounts (AP aging, GRNI).
• Oversee day-to-day high-volume invoicing and 3-way matching of inventory receipts.
