Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a senior Workforce Management leader to drive AI-informed capacity planning and strategic workforce initiatives across Compliance and new product launches.

You will partner with executive leadership to translate complex workforce dynamics into clear narratives, shaping cross-functional plans with Ops, Finance, Legal, and Compliance. This role emphasizes regulated environments, data-driven decision making, and a path to an AI-enabled WFM capability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior Workforce Management or strategic workforce planning in fintech or financial services.
• Executive-level communication to senior leadership without hand-holding.
• Experience designing AI-informed staffing models and capacity planning.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships across Ops, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
• Experience operating in regulated environments and managing compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-informed capacity planning, incorporating hybrid human-AI staffing models, scenario planning, and automation-driven productivity assumptions into workforce strategy.
• Serve as the senior WFM voice with executive leadership, distilling complex workforce dynamics into decision-ready narratives.
• Build trusted partnerships across Ops, Finance, Product, Legal, and Compliance to align on workforce priorities.
• Develop and manage cost models and OpEx forecasts for Compliance Operations with AI-driven productivity gains.
• Identify and drive opportunities across Compliance Operations from data gathering to cross-functional buy-in and execution.
• Lead execution of strategic plans to meet regulatory targets with clear tradeoffs for leadership.
• Create multi-scenario staffing plans for Compliance Operations considering CX, Employee Experience, and AI leverage.
• Extend WFM expertise to adjacent teams as a center of excellence for resource planning.
• Periodically brief senior leadership on WFM performance and regulatory readiness.
