Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a senior Workforce Management leader to drive AI-informed capacity planning and regulatory-ready operations across Compliance and new product launches.

You will partner with CX, Finance, Legal, and Compliance, translating complex workforce dynamics into clear, decision-ready narratives for executive leadership and shaping the strategic direction of WFM in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior Workforce Management, Operations, or Strategic Workforce Planning in regulated finance or fintech.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Ops, and CX leadership.
• Executive-level communication to distill regulatory risk and capacity tradeoffs.
• Expertise in capacity forecasting and scenario modeling for back-office, AI-enabled environments.
• Experience transitioning teams to AI-informed workforce models with AI-driven productivity assumptions.
• Proven drive for operational excellence in regulated environments with high-stakes compliance.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
• Flexible and adaptable to a fast-growth, evolving regulatory landscape.
• Experience with modern WFM platforms (Assembled) and BI tools (Looker, Hex).

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-informed capacity planning, hybrid human-AI staffing across Compliance and new products.
• Serve as senior WFM voice with executives, delivering clear narratives for CX, Finance, and Compliance.
• Build cross-functional alignment on workforce priorities and regulatory resourcing.
• Develop cost models and OpEx forecasts incorporating AI productivity gains.
• Identify opportunities, build business cases, and drive cross-functional buy-in.
• Execute strategic and tactical plans meeting regulatory targets with tradeoff visibility.
• Create multi-scenario staffing models balancing CX, employee experience, and AI leverage.
• Extend WFM expertise to adjacent teams as a center of excellence.
• Brief senior leaders on WFM performance, capacity risk, and strategic direction.
