Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect for Sales Performance Management within the Customer Success realm. You will design end-to-end SPM solutions, lead discovery and design workshops, and govern the functional architecture across the SPM portfolio, including Maps, Planning, and Territory Management.

This role is hands-on, billable, and requires collaboration with product teams to deliver scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management (SPM).
• Deep functional expertise across SPM domains: compensation, planning, territory, enablement.
• Ability to translate business strategy into well-architected solutions with strong analysis.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive, compensation, and planning logic.
• Understanding of data concepts to partner with Technical Architects.
• Executive-level communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to scope, define, and manage work packages and pre-sales qualification.
• Experience mentoring team members.
• Based in the US or Canada; travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholder to define the SPM vision, roadmap, deliverables and expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect end-to-end functional solution across SPM suite.
• Translate sales performance strategy into a Salesforce-based solution.
• Own functional design across SPM suite including Maps, Planning, Spiff, Programs, and Territory.
• Apply Agentforce and AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery.
• Define blueprint, best practices, and design standards; govern scope and quality.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to align design with integrations and data.
• Mentor consultants; promote reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on SPM operating model and adoption best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities: discovery, demos, deep dives, and POC development.
