Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect for complex Sales Performance Management engagements. You will design end-to-end SPM solutions across programs, territory, planning, and enablement while leading discovery, design workshops, and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management (SPM) and related sales tech solutions.
• Deep functional expertise across compensation, planning, territory, and enablement, with cross‑product solution design on Salesforce.
• Ability to translate business strategy into well‑architected solutions with strong analytical and process design skills.
• Advanced ability to model complex incentive and compensation logic in formulae or within the platform.
• Strong data concepts (data modeling and quality) for collaboration with Technical Architects.
• Executive-level communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and guiding projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define SPM vision, roadmap, deliverables and expectations.
• Lead discovery and design workshops; architect end‑to‑end functional solution across SPM suite.
• Translate requirements into a scalable Salesforce-based solution with commission, territory and enablement components.
• Own functional design and configuration across SPM, including Maps, Planning, Spiff, and TE M (territory management).
• Apply AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value realization.
• Define design standards, best practices, and governance of scope and quality.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to align with integrations and data.
• Mentor consultants; champion reusable assets and standards.
• Advise customers on operating models, adoption and best practices.
• Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, and pre‑sales activities.
