Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a results-driven SMB Account Executive in San Francisco to build durable net-new business and drive AI-powered CX value for customers. You will prospect, qualify, and close deals, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align business outcomes with Zendesk platforms.

This hybrid role requires visiting our San Francisco office and collaborating with executives across business, technology, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex B2B SaaS sales and new-business development preferred.
• Ability to build executive-level value propositions and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain qualified net-new pipeline to meet quota through targeted outbound and inbound activities.
• Lead discovery, qualification, value mapping, mutual action planning, and closing.
• Translate customer priorities into Zendesk platform value propositions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align deals with business outcomes.
• Own commercial strategy, deal progression, and negotiation within guardrails.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Marketing, and partners to improve win probability.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline health, and forecast discipline.
