Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sales Strategy & Enablement Director to lead the AI vision and roadmap for Sales and SBO, acting as AI Ambassador and guiding enterprise governance, pilot activity, and emerging tech evaluation. This role partners across teams to shape the future seller experience.

You will collaborate with Sales Analytics, Business Process Design & Improvement, Technology, Sales, and SBO to align on investment roadmaps, governance, and AI-enabled experiences for sellers and SBO team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of strategy, transformation or senior operations.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on AI solution experience with demonstrated ability to guide others on AI implementation.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year strategic visions and translate them into actionable roadmaps with milestones.
• Deep expertise with enterprise AI and agentic technologies, including integration with sales tech stack.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Experience leading transformation in a matrixed organization with knowledge of change frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drives the AI vision and roadmap for Sales and SBO, tracking progress and maturity.
• Serves as the AI Ambassador for Sales and SBO within enterprise AI governance.
• Guides teams on AI solution development and assesses integration with the sales tech ecosystem.
• Leads readiness for incoming AI capabilities and sequences tool build or pilot phases.
• Communicates transformation impact to sales leadership and the broader field organization.
• Captures seller feedback to inform roadmap decisions and ensure grounded transformation.
• Defines success criteria and measurement frameworks for seller experience and ROI.
• Drives tool rationalization and convergence across the sales tech stack.
• Creates investment roadmaps and analyzes budget impacts for AI transformation.
• Represents Sales and SBO in AI policy and governance decisions, ensuring alignment.
