Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Deployment Strategists to own end-to-end delivery for high-stakes customer migrations and platform modernizations. You will lead engagement strategy, direct cross-functional pods, run executive governance, and leverage AI tools to accelerate discovery and execution.

This role requires extensive experience in enterprise SaaS transitions, strong governance, and executive stakeholder management, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise delivery, TPM, engagement management, or management consulting for enterprise SaaS transitions.
• Proven track record owning enterprise engagement scopes and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in program governance, scope management, business process analysis, and executive stakeholder management.
• Experience with Professional Services, Systems Integrators, and external customer teams.
• Broad understanding of enterprise cloud platforms across Marketing, Revenue/CPQ, Analytics, or Data Cloud.
• Experience using AI productivity tools to accelerate delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own engagement end-to-end as single point of accountability across Discovery to Handoff.
• Establish engagement governance, track milestones, manage scope, and resolve risks.
• Direct day-to-day rhythm of cross-functional teams and keep scope and delivery dates aligned.
• Serve as primary contact for VP and C-suite stakeholders, translating migrations into business outcomes.
• Lead steering committee reviews and drive organizational change.
• Lead discovery workshops and map requirements to target platform patterns.
• Use AI tools to synthesize legacy docs, extract business logic, and accelerate assets.
• Define change enablement paths and lead post-migration handoffs for adoption.
