Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Principal Program Manager - Technical to own the business disbursement program, coordinating across platforms, partnerships, and external teams. You will shape the long-term strategy, architect scalable integrations, and drive platform capabilities that enable fast, reliable payouts worldwide.

You will work with the Director of Global Money Movement to influence engineering, compliance, and business units, using AI to accelerate discovery and execution across markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of program management experience.
• Proven ability to define and drive long-term product or program vision.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and business development.
• Strong technical fluency.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for Remitly's business disbursement program.
• Use AI tools as a force multiplier across analysis, discovery, and operations.
• Work with external partners and advocate at VP level for investments and structures.
• Understand Remitly services and platform architecture to inform scalable integration patterns.
• Drive platform and engineering teams to build required features with clear requirements and strong technical judgment.
• Identify customer pain points, market shifts, and competitive opportunities to shape strategy.
• Ground decisions in data with metrics, analyses, and prioritization.
• Elevate product thinking with clear vision, customer obsession, and scalable solutions.
