Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Global Transfer Flow in Seattle. You will lead the engineers building the experience to prepare and submit money transfers, guiding a multi-year technical strategy and a major modernization effort.

You will move toward a configurable platform across markets, improve reliability, and champion AI-assisted tooling while partnering with Product, Design, and Analytics to set priorities and goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership.
• 5+ years hiring and managing engineering teams.
• Experience leading architecture changes in a large codebase.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop engineers with Remitly values.
• Own the technical strategy and drive complex architecture changes.
• Modernize transfer APIs and data models across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics for measurable goals.
• Coordinate delivery and quarterly planning.
