Job summary

Cloudflare, Inc. in Beijing, China, is seeking a Customer Engineer to drive technical go-to-market strategies and own architectural conversations across Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.

You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping solution designs and demonstrating value to senior stakeholders using AI-augmented workflows. You will partner with Account Executives, deliver PoCs, and lead technical QBRs while expanding adoption and revenue across the lifecycle of strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record in quota‑carrying or revenue‑aligned environments with SaaS metrics.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management to bridge technical and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures and demonstrate PoCs across Cloudflare portfolio.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Own long‑term technical relationships and align with customer business goals and product roadmap.
• Carry a quota tied to new business acquisition and account growth; lead QBRs to show ROI.
• Leverage AI‑augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic advisory.
