Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer to partner with Account Executives, owning the technical relationship from discovery through to adoption and expansion. You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to reduce admin toil and focus on high-value architectural design and measurable outcomes across the customer journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Oversight of technical onboarding and implementation, owning discovery, demos, onboarding, and health metrics.
• Drive quarterly business reviews to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic advisory.
