Job summary

Box is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our San Francisco team, working with Enterprise clients to expand Box AI and the full suite of Box solutions. You’ll own the technical win, craft customer-focused demonstrations, and coordinate a cross-functional team to deliver compelling, business-driven solutions.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations, presenting at field events and driving opportunities across accounts.

Qualifications

4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting in SaaS / enterprise software.
Proven experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems and content lifecycles.
AI-curious and fluent in discussing LLMs, embeddings, automation, and prompts with diverse audiences.
Strong presentation skills and ability to demonstrate business value through demos.
Familiar with APIs, webhooks, REST, OAuth, JSON, Python, JavaScript.
Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools (Nintex, Zapier, Workato, n8n).

Responsibilities

Research customer problems and craft tailored solutions for exceptional experiences.
Own the technical win and drive the technical deal forward.
Understand product integrations and MCP servers.
Lead demos showcasing Box AI and breadth of solutions (BoxAI, Web, Mobile, Shield, Relay, Sign, Governance, Canvas, Platform).
Serve as a technical quarterback coordinating an extended solution team.
Communicate business value and Box capabilities to customers.
Support field events as Box SME and presenter.
Travel up to 50% to engage with customers in territory.
