Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to design, build, and iterate on agentic AI solutions within a BU. You will deploy AI systems, tune prompts, and run A/B tests to show ROI, collaborating with TPMs and domain stakeholders.

You’ll work on data integrations, pipelines, and dashboards while aligning with enterprise security and responsible AI practices. Strong Python and cloud experience are essential for success in this role at T-Mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Required).
• 2-4+ years hands-on software or ML engineering in production environments with Python; cloud deployments and enterprise data source integrations (Required).
• 4-7+ years in a customer-facing/operational/embedded technical role (Preferred).
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms and integration patterns (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG, function calling).
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• AI system deployment, tuning, and integration within BU data sources (CRM, billing, ticketing, ERP).
• Conduct A/B experiments and ROI validation with structured analyses.
• Collaborate with BU teams across care, retail, finance, and supply chain.
• Build ETL pipelines and data normalization for AI consumption and monitoring dashboards.
