Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an Engineer, Forward Deployment to design, build, and iterate AI solutions embedded within a business unit. You will deploy agentic systems, tune prompts, run experiments, and deliver ROI-targeted outcomes across care, retail, finance, and supply chain.

With 2–4+ years in software/ML production work and 4–7+ years in customer-facing roles, you’ll partner with TPMs and stakeholders, implement system integrations, and contribute to practice reporting in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years hands-on software or ML engineering in production environments; Python coding and cloud deployment experience.
• 4–7+ years in customer-facing or operations roles with enterprise AI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• AI system deployment and tuning of agentic solutions within a BU domain, with weekly live feedback.
• Run A/B experiments and document ROI impacts to inform prioritization.
• Build integrations connecting AI to CRM, billing, ticketing, ERP data sources; develop ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with BU teams across care, retail, finance, and supply chain; gather requirements.
• Contribute to practice reporting, performance documentation, and knowledge sharing.
