T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking an Engineer, Forward Deployment to design, build, and iterate AI solutions embedded within a business unit. You will deploy agentic AI across domains, tune prompts, run A/B tests, and deliver measurable ROI while collaborating with TPMs and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes Python-based engineering, data integration, cloud deployments (AWS/Azure), and a forward deployment mentality to rapidly produce production-ready AI systems in enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–4+ years hands-on software or ML engineering experience in production environments; Python; cloud deployments.
• 4–7+ years in customer-facing, operations, or embedded technical role; Enterprise AI platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• AI System Deployment & Tuning: Implement, configure, and iteratively tune AI solutions in the domain; adjust prompts, escalation logic based on live feedback.
• A/B Experimentation & ROI Validation: Run controlled experiments; document ROI targets and inform prioritization with structured analysis.
• BU Partnership & Workflow Engagement: Collaborate with BU teams across care, retail, finance, supply chain and other contexts.
• Data Engineering & System Integrations: Build integrations with CRM, billing, ticketing, ERP; prepare data for AI systems; lightweight ETL pipelines.
• Practice Reporting & Requirements Support: Contribute to reporting cycles; document performance, failure modes, and gaps.
