Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Native Account Executive to drive new logo acquisition and major cloud migrations across the Americas, focusing on AI training use cases.

You will collaborate with internal teams to execute go-to-market strategies and build a massive pipeline in a fast-growing Infrastructure as a Service team. As a Major Account Executive, New Accounts, you will own the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through closing, with a deep understanding of cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate grit and flexibility across multiple time zones.
• Be present at the San Francisco Office to lead by example and foster partnerships.
• Deep technical and commercial expertise, including power capacity and cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute a global outbound prospecting strategy to generate pipeline and drive new logo acquisitions.
• Operate with urgency and ownership, focusing on outbound initiatives to accelerate top-of-funnel growth.
• Design, execute, and refine multi-channel outreach campaigns with personalized messaging.
• Own the end-to-end sales cycle from engagement to deal closure.
• Develop understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI computing, and emerging technologies.
