Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Native Account Executive to drive new logo acquisitions and large-scale cloud migrations across the Americas, focusing on ML/AI training use cases within the Infrastructure as a Service team.

You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, collaborate with internal teams on GTM strategies, and build a massive pipeline in a fast-growing AI and cloud ecosystem. SF office presence is expected for leadership and alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and flexible schedules for global alignment.
• Presence at the San Francisco Office to lead by example and strengthen partnerships at NA HQ.
• Deep technical and commercial expertise, including power capacity and cooling solutions for large deployments.
• Proven track record closing massive infrastructure and data center deals at enterprise levels.
• Sales methodology expertise and experience in net-new cloud sales (infrastructure or software) in B2B Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Execute a global outbound prospecting strategy to generate pipeline and new logo acquisitions across targeted verticals and regions.
• Dedicates significant weekly focus to outbound initiatives to accelerate top-of-funnel growth.
• Design and refine multi-channel outreach campaigns with personalized messaging and data-driven optimization.
• Own the complete end-to-end sales cycle from initial engagement to closure, aligned with customer goals and GTM strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI computing to ensure consistent execution and measurable results.
