Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency delivering paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Agency Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients, focused on retention, renewal and growth.

You will upsell and expand within each client, driving a seven-figure annual quota while collaborating with strategists and delivery teams to ensure one clear voice to the client.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising agencies.
• Track record of keeping clients and selling additional work with measurable numbers.
• Comfort with a quota and clear, calm communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain and renew clients across your book, flagging at-risk accounts early.
• Identify upsell opportunities and selling next projects within each client.
• Achieve a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Collaborate with strategists and delivery teams to present a single client voice.

About The Role

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
