Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency delivering paid media, SEO, CRO and web services for marketing-led brands. As Key Account Manager you will own an established book of recurring clients, with sales and retention responsibilities and a seven-figure annual quota.

You will collaborate with strategists and the delivery team to present a single, clear voice to clients, manage renewals, and seek expansion opportunities within each account.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing or digital agencies.
• Proven track record of retaining clients and selling additional work.
• Experience carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.


• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.


• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.


• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.


• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.


• Comfort carrying a quota.


• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
