Job summary

New Beginnings Home care is seeking an On-Call Scheduling Supervisor to manage participant service hours and staff assignments during after-hours and weekends. The role ensures services align with each participant's plan and requires accurate scheduling within the system.

You will communicate staffing needs to HR, monitor for any scheduling changes, and ensure compliance with labor laws governing hours worked. Weekend and weekday rotation duties form a core part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage schedules effectively.
• Ability to manage after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assure all areas are covered.
• Replace shifts as needed when employees call in or hours change.
• Notify on-call supervisor of scheduling changes or issues.
• Communicate staffing needs to HR.
• Ensure schedules in the system reflect approved services.
• Document any missed services in the system.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws regarding hours worked.
