Evergreen Real Estate Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Property Manager for affordable housing communities. You will lead site teams, oversee leasing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to provide safe, clean, and compliant homes.

The role requires 3+ years in on-site management, supervisory experience, and knowledge of HUD/LIHTC programs. You will partner with residents, coordinate with social services, and ensure accurate reporting, inspections, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years on-site property management; at least 1 year as Property Manager in affordable housing.
• Illinois Leasing Agent License within 120 days of employment if not licensed in IL.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• COS, Tax Credit Certification, ARM or CAM preferred.

Responsabilités

• Staff management: hire, supervise, train, evaluate site staff; set goals and conduct evaluations.
• Leasing & resident management: maximize occupancy, oversee tenant selection, orientation, retention, and resident communication.
• Compliance & regulatory: ensure HUD/LIHTC/ADA/Fair Housing compliance; maintain resident files and certifications.
• Financial management: assist with annual operating budget; review financial reports; manage rent collection and delinquencies.
• Operations & maintenance: schedule preventive maintenance; supervise vendors; conduct inspections; ensure safety and quality.
