Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Property Manager for a Multifamily (Affordable) community in Washington, DC. You will lead an on-site team, manage leasing, budgeting and maintenance, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in property management with an focus on affordable housing (LIHTC/tax credit). DC licenses are required or must be obtained within 6 months. Strong Yardi and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Washington DC Real Estate License preferred.
• Washington DC Property Manager License required within 6 months of start date, if not held on hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of affordable community including maintenance, budgeting, leasing, marketing, and contracts.
• Provide superior customer service to residents to enhance satisfaction and renewals.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing on-site team across leasing, maintenance and management.
• Develop marketing programs to drive occupancy and revenue while controlling expenses.
• Ensure compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures.
