Job summary

Asset Living in Seattle seeks a Community Manager to oversee an affordable housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, maintenance, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires proven on-site leadership, experience with LIHTC or HUD programs, and a track record of resident satisfaction, retention, and strategic leasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of the housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
