Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management to ensure policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, supervise budgets, and drive leasing strategies while maintaining safety and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or a combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or four years' experience in the housing industry; relevant experience may substitute.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and supervision of on-site staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff training, coaching, and guidance per Asset standards.
• Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments.
• Address performance issues and coordinate with supervisor and HR.
• Promote staff harmony and quality job performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve NOI through cost control and revenue/leasing improvements.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts.
