Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, through Teledyne Aerospace Electronics, seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across North America. You will own high-value accounts, lead technical and commercial engagements, and manage long-cycle deals with airlines, operators, and OEMs.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape offerings, maintain a Salesforce-driven pipeline, and travel up to 50% to engage customers and partners in a competitive aerospace market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of aerospace/aviation sales experience with airlines, operators, OEMs, or government aviation.
• Strong technical sales acumen with ability to communicate complex avionics systems and negotiate long-cycle deals.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow defined airline, operator, OEM, and partner accounts.
• Build account plans focused on expansion and retention.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities from qualification to close.
• Translate operational challenges into clear technical and commercial solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to shape customer-driven offerings.
• Maintain an accurate, data-driven pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
• Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and support contract negotiations.
• Build credibility with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program, and customer teams.
• Represent Teledyne at industry events and customer-facing engagements.
