Teledyne Aerospace Electronics is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across North America. You will own complex sales cycles, translating customer needs into technical and commercial solutions, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape offerings.

You’ll build and manage a defined portfolio, develop pricing strategies, and lead negotiations with airlines, operators, OEMs, and government aviation organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or higher in engineering/business/related field.
• 7+ years’ aerospace/aviation sales experience.
• Proven experience selling to airlines, MROs, OEMs or government aviation organizations.
• Experience with avionics, aircraft systems or aviation software products.
• Strong communication of complex concepts.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• U.S. Person required.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined portfolio of airline, operator, OEM, and partner accounts.
• Build and execute account plans focused on expansion and retention.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales opportunities from qualification to close.
• Translate operational challenges into clear technical and commercial solutions.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to shape customer‑driven offerings.
• Maintain an accurate, data‑driven pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
• Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and support contract negotiations.
• Build credibility with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, program, and customer teams.
• Represent Teledyne at industry events and customer‑facing engagements.
