Job summary

Moog is hiring a Finish/Deburr Technician I for the 3rd shift at our Buffalo, NY site. You will remove burrs and sharp edges from machined aerospace components, inspect finishes, and ensure parts meet exact engineering specs before inspection and assembly.

The role offers extensive hands-on training, FAA-related safety compliance, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. We provide competitive pay, benefits, and 2nd/3rd shift incentives including 10% differential and relocation

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of deburring/finishing experience in a machine shop.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read/simple measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities.
• Prepare parts for next production stage: cleaning, safety, and readiness for inspection/assembly.
• Support durability by ensuring proper finish and absence of defects.
