Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Finish/Deburr Technician I for the 3rd shift on onsite operations.

You will remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components to ensure parts meet engineering and quality specifications before moving to inspection or assembly. This hands-on role includes extensive training, FAA Safety Sensitive program participation, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English work instructions.
• At least 3 months of related experience in deburring/finishing in a machine shop.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is a requirement for this position under FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities affecting performance.
• Ensure components are properly finished before inspection or assembly to support durability.
• Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by removing excess material and defects.
• Prepare parts for next production stage, ensuring cleanliness and safety for inspection or shipment.
