Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Finisher I for 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. The role involves finishing machined aerospace components, removing burrs and sharp edges, and inspecting parts to ensure compliance with engineering specs and safety standards.

Eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus if applied within the specified window. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 3 months of related finishing experience in a machine shop, and FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
At least 3 months of related finishing/deburring experience in a machine shop environment.
FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specs.
Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect performance or compliance.
Ensure components are properly finished to support durability before inspection or assembly.
Prevent defects by ensuring parts are free of excess material and manufacturing flaws.
Prepare parts for the next production stage, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection or shipment.
