Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Grind Machinist I for the 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will set up and grind complex parts with precision in a high mix, low volume environment, using blueprints and process instructions.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year experience as a machinist OR graduation from a formal CNC program.
• Demonstrated experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC processes.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment including micrometers and dial bore gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions.
• Compliance with FAA Drug & Alcohol Program is required for Safety Sensitive work.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, process instructions, or verbal directions.
• Set up and grind complex parts in a high mix, low volume production setting after training.
• Inspect all work using a variety of gauges.
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems in the work area.
