Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Finisher I to support 3rd Shift operations in our Military Aircraft Group. Onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will remove burrs and finish machined components to meet stringent engineering and quality specs, then inspect parts for defects before they move to inspection or assembly.

This role includesFAA safety program enrollment, a 3rd shift with 10% differential, and competitive benefits. High school diploma or GED preferred with related finishing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ months related finishing/deburring experience in a machine shop.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for Safety Sensitive Work.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections to meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts for defects affecting performance or specs.
• Ensure components are clean and properly finished for inspection or assembly.
• Prevent structural issues by ensuring no excess material or defects.
• Prepare parts for next production stage for inspection, assembly or shipment.
